At this years banquet on Saturday 9/10 all players that are there will be given an Insist Equality shirt. We will also have additional shirts for sale for $10.
The reason to wear this shirt whenever you can is to bring attention to the city’s reluctance to acknowledge you as an equal. Boys have better fields and as a girl I want to be valued just as much by the city. And to end the discrimination towards the softball girls of Cambridge. October 12 is a day to celebrate Women’s Equality. Wear your shirt to school that day.
